Mailing/Printing Efficiency

Situation:

A CGSM mailing client needed a series of new formats to reach hand-raisers who wanted to receive more information about their product. Cost efficiencies were critical since the program was ongoing, and being measured at intervals.

A-HA Moment:

By simplifying the program to a series of USPS standard A/letter sized formats we ensured postage would remain as inexpensive as possible. The formats were then creatively optimized to achieve maximum printing efficiency.

Result:

Client saved more than $250,000 annually having made these changes, significantly increasing the ROI of the program.

Marketing on a Budget

Situation:

YourCover.com is a consumer-focused product website owned by CGSM that receives more than 15,000 unique visitors per month. Having our own direct marketing product teaches us important lessons about how our clients face day-to-day business challenges.

A-HA Moment:

Clients have a budget! We’re forced to think within a strict financial framework, so every decision has to be strategic, has to be focused, has to be profitable.

Result:

This real-world training ground helps us provide sage counsel to our clients and deliver bottom-line efficiencies, especially in the digital marketing realm.

Creative/Concept Development

Situation:

CGSM client had a very creative idea to send a paper airplane to a defined database. But creating an actual paper airplane in quantity complete with die-cutting and folding would have proven costly.

A-HA Moment:

Our team made the simple suggestion to create a diagram on a paper insert to allow the recipient to fold the airplane themselves. The creative was then re-developed to show the diagram through a window in the large envelope.

Result:

Recipients were intrigued by the invitation, and were compelled to open the envelope and engage. Response rates soared!
